Click it and type in "Swordfish bill preserving" just like you already did here. Then you'll see that there a 6 replies all telling you just about the same thing.
I know that isn't a simple affaire but in the replies I'v found there isn't a true procedure...a part a replica. My idea now is simply put it in gasoline and left until it be degreased...
You'll only end up with greasy gasoline and a bill that still will stink like fish oil. I just don't understand I suppose. We keep telling people that, by and large, salt water fish CANNOT BE MOUNTED WITH CONVENTIONAL MEANS. We didn't just make those rules up. They came printed with the fish. BTW, gasoline is a solvent and not a degreaser.
On skins, what is a good degreaser that you can find around the house if there is any?
Any good SOAP will work better. (There's a diffence in "soap", "detergent", or "beauty bars".)
Hi, was just curious, my son was given a swordfish bill off a fisherman the other day.. and he was told to hang the bill upside down so that the lavender oil could drip into a tin... Can you tell us what the oil is good for?
