I am just getrting started and I have orange button myself into circles. I would like a down to earth explaination.
1. Tumble birds to dry and clean?
a. corn comb grit or hard wood?
2. Slower lower speeds for birds?
3. Deer are tumbled to partially dry and remove excess oil?

4. Are this a must?
5. Forget the dryer thing one speed/ tried a bird in there looks rough.
6. Any deeper truths to material thats added?
7. The breaking drum with the larger fall is there other material added to it as well? Tennis balls?
Is there any professionally produced help to read or watch?

To answer this question: No tennis balls unless you like alot of noise. We put 150 lbs of hardwood sawdust in our tumbler. Rittels website has a good sawdust supply list.
