We are mounting taxidermy butterflies to a mat and a photograph but do not know what kind of glue to use. The final result will an enclosed shadow box that we will not be able to get back into easily. Thanks for your help.

I used to have an extensive lepidoptera collection and I used a small syringe and needle to put single drops on the butterfly's feet. It dries clear and if you do it right, no one will ever see it. I used to mount them on silk flowers and put them in brandy snifters to sell. They'll last until the first fingers have to "touch it".
