I have always used the bondo method on ears, where you have to flesh
ear, clean with thinner, blow dry it, then bondo, messy and time consumming,
On ear liners and glue can i get rid of blow drying or do you have to do that with earliners to, can i leave cartlige in is it optinal or waste of time, Thanks

You can hang up the blow dryer, I just dry the ear well with a towel so the Epo-Grip or ear magic spreads better. The cartilage must come out when you use earliners else you'll get major drumming. It only takes about 15 mins per ear to remove the cartilage and if you create any holes they superglue up really well.. good luck..
Mike , you need to try liners . It does take a bit longer in the beginning ..but you get such a better ear . The process is as follows: Turn ear . Tan ear . Remove cartilage. Test fit earliner . Trim liner if necessary to fit . Sand liner . Wipe down with mineral spirits . Apply glue of choice . Whala . Groom as needed until epoxy kicks . Nice thin ears!
If you feel it imperative to leave the cartilage in , purchase a product called Ear Majic and follow directions . This is the best product for ears if you are going to leave the cartilage in my humble opinion.
