I just got a 6x7 set of sheds around 300 to 320 bull.He wants a antler mount what is the best way to build a base.All of the catalogs look like the bases are for shoulder mounts.It has 11 inch bases if that helps.Any help would be great thanks.

Get a fake skull plate from Research. Then you get some all thread rod, drill a horn through the skull into the antlers. Run the rod up into the antler and epoxy in place. Then once it sets up you use a washer and nut and tighten it down. Then I fill the inside of the skull with chopped fiberglass and resin. Then fill gaps between the burr and the horn and pedicle with epoxy putty.
