I have a freshly mounted open mouth deer mount that I think looks really good indoors with moderate lighting, but if I take it outside in bright sunlight then it apears to look more painted.Any way is this common? or am I just being to perticular?
thanks!

Just wondering, that's all.
......Look bad in sunlight. Fortunately no one hangs their deer heads outside. If it bothers you, do your painting outside. But then it may not look good in artificial light!
I think maybe I will try some Full Spectrum lighting, like maybe a 1000w while wearing Eagle eyes sun glasses to show the detail while filtering out any dammaging UV light but if it's to bright maybe I will try my welding helmet,LOL!But actually I may try Old Farts Idea to paint outside just to see if it looks better or worse with artifical lighting.
Thanks!
