pickle then dp?

is it ok if i pickle then dry preserve or ddo i have to tan.
if dry preserve is ok could any body give a good idea on some easy to find stuff to go in a dry preserve instead of borax alone

Since most DP's are mostly talc anyway, use Johnson's, it'll even give you a nice smell!

Pickling is an integral part of tanning while DP is a stand alone method. You need to do a lot of reading before you jump into this one. You'd never pickle anything that you intended to DP or vice versa.
