Best glue for hair patching

Submitted by Ryan Major on 7/28/05 at 1:58 PM. ( ) 207.200.116.196

Does anyone have a good recommendation for the best kind of glue for doing hair patching? I have tried elmers and the modgepodge (sp?), but once the patch is brushed, most of the patched hair tends to fall out. Thanks...

Thick and pastey. Holds hair solid. No dripping. Brush a thin layer on the bald spot and apply hair.

Go to any automotive dept. and find the clear RTV silicone. I believe I got this idea from George years ago and I've used it with success many times. Good Luck. Jeff F.
