Dakoa IV Flesher

Just asking a question. I just bought out a taxidermist and got this flesher with it. My question is , Can you use this on raw skins to take meat off the skin, Or is it only after tanning to thin down hide. No istructions with machine. Thanks for any help.Mark

You can use it to flesh raw skins. I do not use mine for anything other than shaving after pickled. But a friend of mine does raw skins on his rawhide flesher.
