maybe you could have cought him again when he's 13ft. Or I could have seen him while scuba diving. I do't even think there is much bone in the sharks head... and for sure the jaw are not connected to anything but musscle. Cut them out clean up and let dry. If I were you I would avoid bleaching or whitning, I feel it makes the teeth look bad. I would rather have good looking teeth on the jaw than white teeth and white jaw bone.

The jaws are easy to do; there are lots of different methods people use but the simplest is:
remove the jaws carefully cutting between the upper jaw and skull, care not to cut the jaw. Remove as much flesh as you can with a knife, pay especial care around the 'lips' as you dont want to cut the teeth loose. Remove the membrane behind the teeth rows where the replacement teeth are- this goes black and manky if you leave it. If you leave the jaws in water for a day or so first, the muscle slightly rots and comes away easier, but is VERY smelly.
At this point you can soak in dilute bleach to kill bacteria, but dont need to.
Whiten in dilute (5-10%) hydrogen peroxide; watch this as it will eventually cause the cartilage of the jaws to crack, so remove the jaws when they are white. Peg them to shape and dry, preferably not in direct sun (as they can crack).
It is possible to prepare out the neurocranium (skull) but this is VERY difficult as it is cartilage and very fragile. Use the smae methods as with the jaws, but more carefully, and get a good picture of a skull to work with.
