Just kidding the JRTS stands for John Rinehart Taxidermy Supply. The tan is just something he developed and sells under his business name.

McKenzie bought out JRTS. So you can call them and get it 1-800-279-7965.
It stands for John Rinehart Tanning SOLUTION and John Rinehart, not JRTS, was bought out by McKenzie. If not the first, JRTS was one of the very first paint on tans to be commercially marketed and in my estimation, is still the best out there.
JRTC= John Rinehart tanning cream
JRTS= John Rinehart taxidermy supply.
or did I eat a retard sandwich for breakfast?
George, keep the personal comments to your self! LOL!

You must've not used JRTS back when John Rinehart owned the place. It's only been named CREAM recently. When you used to buy it from John, the catalog was pretty descriptive. It had JOHN RINEHARTS in big bold letters and then in sub characters, it said "taxidermy supply". When you ordered from them, the receptionists answered "John Rineharts", not JRTS and when you ordered it, the order number WAS "JRTS" to which you'd be asked "quart or gallon?". You young whippersnappers. I'll swear. LMAO
Dragnet, Car 54, My 3 Sons! I have seen em all! as Glen Conley has said "any one who remembers Dragnet is old enough to have hair coming out of strange places"
I think I orderd my first "Eyes Rite" form in 92 or 93? I was running a tannery at the time and did not belive in "rub on tans" But I belive back then I wasn't old enough to have a credit card so the order was through the mail. To this day I have never called John Rineharts. So I still do not know how the staff will answer the phone. Joe
