question on instructional videos

Just wondering if anyone can give me any advice on the quality of the videos found at http://www.learn-taxidermy.com/ . I am a beginner and I am looking at getting some videos to help get me started. These seem like a good deal, however, I am wondering if it might be too good of a deal and that I would sacrifice quality for price. Thank you for your help.

those are what i learned the BASICS off of. but if you get the set of 4. theyre good to get you started on basics, but the least basic. the deer is dry preserved, a lot of the painting is done with brush, not an airbrush. you will still need to do a lot of research, believe me, a lot. those 4 videos dont come close to explaining all there is to do with taxidermy. they give nothing on tanning, salting for the tannery. on deer it shows basic turning, fleshing, mounting., the videos that i found to be O.K. are the ones from mc kenzie, the bobcat and bear were ok. from Van Dykes i like the mt lion and elk. . hope that helps, now keep in mind that a bobcat video is pretty much the same as a mt lion or any life size just smaller or bigger. you will still need a lot of reference , a mt lions eyes arent the same shape as a bear. what i liked about the elk is its pretty much like a deer but bigger, but it showed an OPEN mouth, bugling. again youll need reference for deer.keep in mind no video is gonna turn you pro either, but get you started, i learned all i know from working with an award winning taxidermist. good luck and i hope i helped a little.

buy the videos...
