I want to take a flying greend wing teal to a contest but i need to change the feet they are all wrinkely.I injected them but it didn't work very good. It's about a year old. Can i strip them to the bone at the feathers on the legs, and then glue on the artificial legs, or is it too late. Thanks Tom

I would cut them off where the bare skin starts.. BUT LEAVE THE WIRE INTACT. Then take a fresh pair of feet and slide them on. Inject and pose..

I just did this with a scaup that had the feet eaten off by a customers dog... Traded out a pair of feet from an extra bird the customer had shot and it was good as new. Took all of about 10 minutes and I just made a customer very happy.
