I have looked in the archives to find what size of pressure i could get by with on mainly doing turkeys. Wal-mart sells the 1500psi eletric pressure washer that sells for about 150.00 the next size is 2000 psi it sells for 200.00. I know the bigger the better just need some imput on this should i wait and get a larger or would the 1500 psi do the job? Thanks ED

In the last issue of Brerakthrough, Shane Smith demoed doing turkeys with a 1500psi washer with a turbo nozzle. He then backed the pressure way off to do the fleshing. I have a Husky model from Home Depot that has 1750 psi and turbo but it can't be backed down and it will DESTROY a turkey at that pressure using Shane's technique.
Richard Noles uses a 3000psi unit for fleshing deer and hog capes but he also backs it off with a turbo nozzle.
the model used is a Cambell Hausfield 1500 psi. I bought one at Walmart, it wors great as long as you go slow, and hold the nozzel close and cut across the skin, and not straight at it. You still need to wire wheel the edges. My first turkey was turned into swiss cheeze, I spent hours sewing. The second and third were better as I took my time and cut away alittle at a time. Don't rush, and don't blast straight on. Hold the nozzel close as the cutting action is smaller, hold back away to far and you will blast the bird to pieces. I think this will be super on deer capes.
ive got one sitting in the garage i bought a harbor freight $119.0
been itching to try this on a deer
do you pressure washer guys on here think this will be enough pressure
Richard Noles put on a seminar at the show in Sioux Falls and he was pretty adamant that you needed 3000lbs to flesh deer. Take a throw away cape and try it, then you'll have your answer. I know the 3000 did the trick real well.
