Main thing I would look for....

...is circumfernce around the antler burr, if you can get anyone to measure it for you. Then go from there, once you have that matched figure out what size cape would look right on it. Or if you have the right size cape but the skin dosen't fit the repo burrs, dremmel it down till it fits and use sculpt epoxy under it. It's all in the archives!

if you get a large set of antlers get a large cape - i know this sounds simplsitic but its the way i've done it for years and have never had anything but very minor problems - you're porbably worrying about something that isnt there

thanks

Not All......

.....Big deer(body and neck wise) have big racks. The solution will be to open up the hole around the antlers. The only thing that you will have to watch for is a set of reproductions that has a wide area "between" the burrs. Those are the capes that are hard to come by and it's hard to change that area of the skin. Fortunately that is almost the highest thing on a deer, so it's hardly ever visible to you.....unless you hang it too low!
