I need to buy a cape i was wondering the advantages and disadvantages between wet tanned and dry tanned capes i believe wet are better and easier to work with am i right?

i like a wet tan, because it will be wet when you mount it anyway. you get it back from the tannery or tan it yourself and into the freezer until ready to prep and mount. the dissadvantage is if your a high volume shop it will take up freezer space, where a dry tan can be stored in a cool dry area no need for electric, dry tanned capes are cheaper to ship simply because they weigh less
it's just that the shipping is a killer. When a dry tanned cape is rehydrated it has just about as much stretch as a wet tanned cape does. Joe
