auto tanner bear rug

I've tanned alot of capes in my auto tanner and I use the arrow head mix, and I always get good results. I usually send my bears to a tannery for bear rugs, but the last couple came back in bad shape. The first one I thought I did something wrong the second one I recorded any flaws with it and the lips came back with alot of holes in them. Any way I was wondering if anyone does thier bear rugs in an auto tanner and what products they use for best results? and the steps they use to acheive this? thanks for any insight and suggestions. todd

If you want your bears to come back like you send them but with a quality tan job done to them, you need to send them to THE WILDLIFE GALLERY! Good Luck, Dan Hudzik

I've used both of the tanneries above and had problems..in fact just about anything that you send out is gonna have a hole or rip or tear somewhere..thats just how it is...But so far I've not done a "bear for rug" in my tanner. Probably best just to send it out and hope for the best!

todd,
i have done several bear rugs and they turned out great .however it was work and based on sending to tannery verses trying to do yourself for shop time would much rather send to tannery.i also use arrowhead.
thanks
