Hi,
I planing to get the upper/lower jaw of a tiger shark (already dried) to remove its teeth for jewelry making. Any ideas on how to remove those teeth without breaking the teeth or their root?
Any hints are much appreciated.

I removed the canine teeth from the jaw of the raccoon by boiling it for about 1 1/2 hours. They came out really easy after that. May give it a try.
hey,I Just put the real teeth into a mako shark fiberglass mount. If the jaw is dried/ I suggest boiling it -slow and steady jsut enough to losen the teeth then the cartlidge comes off real easy .wear some tape on your finger because youa re sure to get some nasty cuts from the razor sharp teeth.pull them out I guess you can even use a pair of needlenose pliers but I sure enjoyed getting my fingers cut up ha ha. good luck
if you boil dont let teeth get to bottom or some may burst!add a little dawn to speed up process.
