Oooooops!

I'm working on my first lifesize coyote....a rug. It has been drying on the stretching board for three days now and I just realized that I didn't flesh out the small pads behind the claws. I removed the large pads.....but goofed on the smaller ones.

Is there enough "stuff" in the pads to cause a problem or is there a chance that I will be OK? I thought about injecting some Preserv-IT in the pads but not sure if that will do any good or not.

....simply rehydrate the pads and flesh them out and restretch.
Otherwise, you may have that "Dog Feet"smell to the pads.

Flesh is a welcome meal for dermestids and you "will" get them if that meat and tendon are left in the pads!

rehydrate and do it right
