I "scavenged" claws and canine teeth from a raccoon hit near my home. I removed the flesh from the claws by boiling them. Now I want to finish them for use. I read the earlier advice of soaking in alcohol and then finishing with a polyurethane coating. Since I boiled them do I still need to soak in alcohol or should I move on to the polyurethane. Since they are so small I do not think that I can get anything screwed through them but I do wish to drill a small hole so that I can string them. Please give me any helpful hints any of you may have.
