I purchased a dry tanned elk it was tanned by Golden State. I received it, soaked it, sweated it in the fridge overnigt so I could get the measurements to get my form. I have by form being sent overnight what should I do with the hide until I receive the form?
Is it all right to put it back in the fridge?

Please let me know asap!
Greatly appreciated.

I'd Freeze It

Freezing a dry tanned hide usually heps it let out a bit more, water expands as it freezes and makes the fibers stretch a bit. They usually thaw out much faster than a raw frozen cape, so it won't take that long to thaw. Keeping it in the fridge won't hurt it either.

Ditto on the freezing

Back in the freezer till your form gets there. It will thaw quickly.

Fridge should be fine

Normally I'd agree with these two folks, but you did say the form is coming OVERNIGHT? Man, I never had a buffalo that needed that kind of immediacy or I felt would be worth that expense, BUT since it will be there tomorrow, one night in the fridge should be OK.
