Copy & paste this address and look at one. I doubt Wal-Mart sells them.

I just seen a picture of one and have walked passed them a hundred times in walmart.
But can someone email with instruction on how to flesh with a ulu knife?
Thanks,
James
The ulu is sharpened on only one side. You hold the ulu in your hand with the blade tilted towards your body and the beveled edge down. You pull the ulu towards your body using a slight sawing motion if necessary. The flesh and mostly fat as in boars and bears, just rolls off in front of the knife. When you get more comfortable, you'll be able to hold the knife off to the side slightly like a scythe and by bending your wrist back and forth, you can flesh a much larger area than just the width of the blade. I keep mine razor sharp and for boars and bears with lots of fat on them, nothing works as well as the ulu.
Rinehart sells them.
I think they are one of the best tools you can have in your shop. I even use mine on whitetails. Once you get comfortable with it you'll absolutely love it. The ULU is great for removing meat like George explained and another knife you should have in your shop are the ones that Jim Allred sells. They are a skinning knife made by Victorinox (MSP?) which is the company that makes the Swiss Army Knives. These knives will help you skin out an animal absolutely perfect. They are easy to use and maintain. They have a very thin blade but are sturdy and VERY EASY to sharpen when it does go dull. I have like 10 of them in my shop! LOL I love them. Not sure but I think Jim sells them for like $5 each. Check on his website he may have them on there. www.jimallred.com Good Luck to you. Dan Hudzik
I suppose it depends on what state you're in. Here in Alaska you can buy them at Safeway. They're sharpened on both sides just like a knife. To watch a native that's GOOD with one fillet salmon, is mind boggling.
They are located with the kitchen knives at walmart.
