AT PRESENT, anyone doing taxidermy for another person must pass the PGC taxidermy exam and obtain a PGC taxidermy permit. If you have already taken the exam and passed then you need to obtain your sales tax license and you are good to go.
Legislation to remove the taxidermy exam and permit (HB 1528) is going through the House and Senate right now but how long it will take to become law is anyone's guess.
