First Bear

I've done a few shoulder mounts and life size. Recently, a friend gave me his bear for a shoulder mount. He's knows it's my first bear but has liked the quality of my other mounts and wants me to do this one for him. I have tanned bears before and know how "tough" it can be and time consuming. My question is "has anyone used the pressure washer method and Krowtann on bears?". I have pressure washed a raccoon and turkey with very good success (best looking raccoon hide I've ever done) but never a bear. I also like using the Krowtann for all small mammal mounts but again have not used it on large hides like a bear. Please don't suggest I send it off to a tannery. He doesn't have a lot to spend on this project so I'm doing it all for cost since it's my first bear and he had enough confidence in my ability to do his first archery bear. Thanks for all the helpful advice on this forum. I have learned so much reading this and the archives.

I used Krowtann on my first bear and it came out just fine. Besure to thin it down till you see hair particals and degrease it WELL.
