The Democrats who go on TV night after night and make statements about how "the strongest military in the world can't defeat the insurgents" should he tried for treason.
We are truly a nation divided. Too bad we can't draw a line in the sand all move to one side or the other. I for one would move to the side that believes it is ok to execute criminals, a crime to execute unborn children, a joke to give illegal aliens anything but jail time, rediculous to tax money we already paid as a tax, stupid to trust the government and give up our gun rights, ludicrous to rebuild cities with dikes that can withstand class 3 hurricanes when we know a bigger ones are coming, etc.,etc., etc.
Oh and one other thing....
We should relentlessly hunt down and unmercifully kill all of our enemies. That's what they have in mind for us. The Democrats would have us sit down and negotiate with them.
I could go on and on but it's useless.
I feel sorry for all of our kids.

PS. I voted for Bush and I think he's done a poor job of leading the country. However, he is our president and we should stand with him and stand together as one nation. Failing to do so will bring our downfall.

I hate pontification. Tell me about the Christian Crusades or maybe Samson and Phillistines or in the temple. Most wars are fought over Christianity versus something and there are enough famous ones where Christians were against Muslims. With your reasoning, I guess you've put God in Hell as well since he brought the big floods that killed everyone except Noah and he destroyed everyone who lived Soddom and Gommorrah. Careful about passing judgment on others. I think that's mentioned in there somewhere as well.

This isn't s democrat or republican thing..The problem is the candiates we have on BOTH sides. I don't know if it will ever be straightened out, but we need something..A party for the people of this country would be a nice start. With the current politcal system, that's not likely to happen. Lets all hope and pray that in the next election, the winner will be someone with accountability, direction, integrity to the country, and solid leadership. We end up with another mule headed oil man in office, and we're in for some severe trouble. Why isn't it possible in this country, in this day and age, to get a dang president that will strengthen the country, and not divide it?
You made excelllent points, but we both know why we can't get a person to match all our needs: TWO REASONS. (1) Political correctness in kowtowing to minorities and their guilt trips and (2) the honest, common man can't afford to get that type recognition required to run for President without selling his soul along the way. The that person just becomes another part of the problem.
You are exactly right...I was venting again I guess, but you are right. Many of us probably know, or have met someone who could be a great president somewhere along the line, but they'll never have a chance because of their status, and financial situation.
