SAL-SODA?

I have just removed the horns from the skull plate from my Mountain Goat. I found a message on this site which said: Once removed, boil the skull in a small amount of Sal-soda to remove extra meat". My only question is: Where do I buy Sal-soda? I have been to Meijer's, Lowe's and CVS Pharmacy and they have never heard of it. If I can't find it; can I just boil it? Thanks very much!

You tried too hard Greg, just go to your local grocers and go down the laundry soap isle and buy a box of arm and hammer washing soda. That is sal soda.

I thought that arm and hammer is sodium bicarbonate, isn't Sal Soda sodium carbonate(no bi)?
