n to e measurement at 7 1/4 but my neck measurements are off at least a inch. The form i want is at the 7 1/2 n to e. The question is can i use the 7 1/2 n to e with my 7 1/4 measurement? Thank you very much

I can't think of a deer (maybe a fawn) that I have done that has had a nose to ear measurement of 7 1/2 or 7 1/4 inches. Now I have had deer with a nose to eye measurement of 7 1/4 to 7 1/2. More often than not 7 1/2 inch nose to eye seems to be fairly common. Good Luck. Dan
I only use the A: eye to nose, as a guide. I go by the B: and C: numbers first, then the "A" numbers. Go next smaller on the E to N or "A" and it should fit without problems.
What the hell are you talking about, Leo? Why would you ever take a nose to ear measurement to begin with? I know of no form maker who even records such a measurement. You take nose to front corner of the eye. Nose to antler burr. Circumference under the jawbone up behind the ears and circumference under the jaw to 3 inches down the neck from the atlas.
Sorry about that i dont know what i was typing I ment the nose to eye measurement.
Ya i messed up on the heading oh well . The problem is that my B measurements mach with the 7 1/2 eye to nose. I only have a 7 1/4 A measurment. Will 1/4 of a inch bigger hurt me?
