Pinning Elk Antlers

I've read a little bit about pinning elk antlers so they can be removed to transport the mount easier.

I am going to do my first elk mount using sheds and was wondering if the "pinning" system would work with sheds.

They're going to be a bear to try and align. If you're using an artificial skull, it is possible, but again, alignment is not your friend.

Well then...........I guess I will use the Elk Shed Antler System and hope I can get it out of my basement 8)
