I just made myself a new fleshing beam...what's the best thing to coat it with? I looked through the archives, but didn't find much. Thank you!

LOL! Just kidding, Mine is made of oak. And has no treatment on it at all. Joe
Why would you need anything? Especially when the oils in the skins will saturate the beam to begin with and possibly damage your skins. That's why I stopped using wooden beams ages ago and switched to PVC
ive got a couple different diam.( 8" for most of it)
its actually faster
and easy to clean
