I'm doing my 1st half mount on a black bear. It was cut up the chest with a Y incision. When test fitting on the manikin, I am having a hard time trying to get the skin to meet in the arm pits. It looks like i lacking about 4" on each side. I have shaved alot off of the legs and body to get it this close. I got the legs to fit
Where should I shave to get the arm pits to fit?

Check your arm length on your bear. You may have to cut them shorten them up and bondo them back togther. Good Luck
