I am going to mount a hog. I am going to use the McKenzie Tan. Is there something I need to add to the pickle to cut the grease in the hide before proceeding with McKenzie Tan Method.

Epo-Grip degreaser works super good for me good luck
all work pretty well. For heavy degresing an animal like a hog I would probably use the supersolvent degreaser. I have used it on bears and it works very well. Van Dykes has all of these.
