I have noticed that your tone is often harsh and rude. The guy who asked the legal question wanted to know something...and thought we could help. Maybe we could assist him so that he would not have to be stuck on the phone for an hour! Anyway, lay off man! Some of us here are just looking for help and guidance...not a butt whoopin!

Aggree, George seems like he is one of the sharpest tools in this box and is really helpfull, but only likes to pick the ones he can bash first. I see this in most of his answers even over there in that orange button too. I'm just glad he does help.
But Mr. reluctant its kinda like this. Who is going to hand out the citation when who ever gets the wrong interpretation of the law here. George was saying call the guys that are paid to know. I will add, then call again and ask someone else. I have been given three answers to 1 question from The TWRA by 4 different people, I finally called the CO who will check me and got his take on it.
I guessed, by the title, that someone had a bone to pick with the ole'timer. And sure nuff! All I can say to "reluctant" is know this... Remember watching the Wizard of Oz? Remember how Oz responded when he was asked for information? Yeah he was loud, but he was also very helpful! That's George. Ya gotta love him! Rough yet useful. Could be worst, he could be polite yet useless. You know, like Cecil LOL! Just kidding.

George does give (usually) top-quaility replies and rules over the "Push the Orange Button" claim, but how do you think some of these questions get into the archives?
Earlier I made one on the legality of pidgeons. Now Me and 5 others know the answer is "Yes"

Having said that, I truly believe George tries to be correct and accurate. But like any/all of us he can be mistaken/wrong at times.
