Are you splitting your lids fully and making the tuck skin very thin, sounds like a shrinkage problem.

yes you should be able to see thru them, then you will not have that problem.

Yellow fats beeads must be removed. PAPER THIN.

I split the eyelids down to where I can see hair roots but maybe I am not removeing all of the fatty tissue but is got to be really close. On thing that seems to help me splitting the eyes & lips is a hacksaw blade(broke in half with apoxie sculpt for a handle)I split the eyes by draging the teeth of the blade,it seemed to do a decent job & won't cut through at least not easily. Also I trim the fatty tissue with scisor, maybe not good enough.

Learn to use a scalpel properly, it should be your best...

friend.

Insert your finger through the eye hole and apply upward pressure while pinching the eyelid between your thumb and finger. Pull the eyelid with pressure from pinching as you slice at the same time push up with your finger. Index finger on the hairside of eye. Use some borax if it is too slippery. This will give you some control. Cut gently until you begin to see that line of yellow fat nodules. Then cut slowly into them until they are exposed. The scalpel will easily remove the fat with a little practice. Even if you accidently slice a hole in the lid it's no big deal. When you mount rub hide paste right into the eye area before placing the cape on the form.

As the mount dries check it periodically and keep working this area.
