I am an artist looking into the preservation of some pig bladders for my thesis show in March. I would like to know how to cure them and shape the bladders in the process. I have spoken to a taxidermist but he is a state away, it isn't like I can just run over to his place and experiment. I use salt in curing pig casings for my work which works out really well. Salt would not work for the bladders would it? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
