Need help as to how to I properly measure a LARGEMOUNT Bass
for my brother who is doing my mount
It was caught in a catch and release area in Florida
and I have the mount, 10 pound Bass already ordered
now he tells me I need gills for the mount and there come
in different sizes. Do I measure the length around the arc
of the mount or do I measure the straight line distance so that
I get the proper length for the gills.
Thanks for your help in advance
Merry Christmas to you all

...sells the gills as well. If your brother is a taxidermist, he should have various sizes on hand or should know the approximate size. If your bro is doing the work, ask your brother to find the gills to match the blank. You can also try searching WASCO's website and pick up a couple theu here, they're relatively cheap. I'd ask the blank distributor first for a pair and/or recommended size...
be able to make whatever size needed. It's relatively easy to make them any size you need, if you don't want to purchase them or can't find the size you need. If you have further questions email me. Marc R
