In today's society a disclaimer is inadequate. You need to have a contract. One that clearly spells out your responsibility as well as the customer's. It needs to have posable pit falls covered. You need to cover the customers responsibility if the item delivered to you for mounting turns out to be illegally taken. You need to cover late payment penalties as well as late pick up. you need to spell out storage fees, and interest percentages. That way if it ever comes to a suit to recover your money from a dead beat you will get every cent. However you need ensure them that they will get professional service. quality work according to industry standards, and completion when stated. The disclaimer part fall into the contract. And list things beyond your control. Good luck and enjoy
Kevin,
Sorry bout that.Got glue on my finger. Tenbears is correct you need to have a good contract. Check out the archives with a search for contracts. There is a bunch of info there to help you develop one that suits your situation. Definately check your state reg's as some states have specific guidelines as to how to contact your customer when their mount is ready or when they are delinquent.
Hope this helps!
Mac
