I was going to purchase a fleshing knife for everything from coons to deer and was wondering what the advantages, if any, were to having a 16.5" blade versus a 10.5" blade when fleshing. I'll have an 8" beam. Is it just the comfortableness or is there more? Thanks!

Dont get any other knife, necker is the best! you will pay more at first but it will pay off in the long run
