I'm a trapper, and I'm looking to start selling some of my catch to the taxidermy market. What measurements are generally needed by taxidermists of the animals? I caught a bobcat this morning that I'm considering trying to sell here on the forums, but I want to have all the appropriate information listed for potential buyers. Any information would be appreciated. I hope I got this in the right forum? Thanks, Adam

Measure from end of nose to inside corner of eye, from end of nose to base of tail, and circumference at neck behind ears and belly. With these measurements every one will be happy.

I'm in west KY and am looking to hook up with a trapper for mount quality furbearers. I'm in SEMO a bunch in Jan-Feb.
please be very specific and honest as to any damages your specimens may have. ie; bullet holes, leg damage, scars etc. you can expect better than average fur price for good taxidermy quality specimens.
keep in mind when selling on a public forum, if you try to pass junk as good quality you will get slammed for all the world to see.
I live in MO, and am interested in the bobcat! Let me know if there is any damage, and how much you are asking. Email me, please.
