I have a wolf that this customer wants for a rug but the ears are slipped on both sides? and theres a small hole in the muzzle and no lips. The lips can be rebuilt and i think i can bunch the skin to a snarl to hide the hole, but can i cut the ears off and try a diff. pair or try a new head itself?

Try some earmuffs, earphones,or maybe a nice fitting timberwolves hat. Dang,do I have to explain everything to you beginners?
Try this. Click that SEARCH icon to the left there and when the white box appears, type in "hair replacement". Use the quotation marks and read what I suggested in 1999.
Thanks George for your help,I did try the search but not under hair replacemnt thanks alot.As for Mr know It All, dosent sound like your a genius more like a idiot,so here some advive from a beginner to you, 1st. change your e-mail to imadonkey?.com
2nd what the does "Dang" mean ?
Didn't mean to get yer dander up there. Just a little light hearted fun. First of all, if you're asking a question like this then why did you take it from a customer? Second, if you're asking a question like this then I can about bet that you'll make nothing by the time your labor is accounted for. "So here some" advise to you, crawl before you run. And BTW, Dang is a polite way of saying damn. P.S. I just did a coyote that the tannery actually lost part of the ears. I took pieces from another 'yote's ears and sewed them in place on the others and blended with my airbrush when it was complete. Looks fine. I couldn't find earmuffs that fit! Now go fix your roadkill. Happy New Years.
When i received this from the customer and sent it out to be tanned it was all good,it came back this way.So insted of telling him he lost out i said i would try and find an answer and knowing that this had to have happened to someone else that there is a fix.
Second yes i will probably make nothing on my labour on this one..big deal...he had a bad tan? so maybe if we are taxidermist then we should at try. This is the first time i came across this and i let the tanner know about so my customer will get a free tan on his next trophy.
So take your advice and crawl back to your hole..
If you had a contract that didn't leave you liable for tanneries mistakes then you wouldn't work for nothing. Thats what most taxidermistS do. At this point I'll crawl back to my hole where IIIIIIII make money. To bad they gave up government cheese,EH!
