First Coyote mount

I am a hobby taxidermist (12-18 years) for myself and friends and have only mount deers, fish and small animals. I just got a coyote to do for myself. Should I handle same as I do deer? This is what I do to deer.
1)Salt 2 days
2)Rehydrate
3)Pickle with Saftee acid
4) Neutralize (Do final fleshing)
5)Tan in Krowtann 2000
6) Neutralize
7)Wash in Tide
8)Rinse in clear water

I could find what I was looking for with the search button. I would appreciate some help.
Thanks

My own stuff. But here goes. If I was you and did steps 1-3 I then would take it out of the pickle and let drip out for a hour or so. Then I would final flesh. Then I would put back in pickle for a day and then neturalize. Then I would roll it up in a towel for 15 mins to dry flesh side. Then brush on McKenzie tan let set for 5-6 hours or over night. Then I would rinse in cold water and roll it up in a towel hair side to get excess moisture out. Then I would freeze or mount. That is pretty much what I think the dirrections on the McKenzie bottle says to do And I assume you turn the lips and everything first.

Then If I was going to use the Krowtann i would Start with step five you have and add final flesh as step seven and make the other two steps you have 8 wash in tide, even some people warn against it the dirrections say to do it. i just used very little the other day and was quick to step 9 wash it out.

You can look on the McKenzie website for their dirrections and you can look at the WASCO website for Krowtann. Thats if you don't have them. But you are adding a lot of steps IMO. Good luck

your steps are overkill...
