I just got an auto tanner again and tanned a hide in it.The tanner works great, but the hair is falling out in huge chunks.I used lutan f.I turned and fleshed the cape, salted for 24hrs then put it in the tanner in a safety acid pickle for 8hrs at 50lbs pressure.took it out and did some touch up fleshing and thinned it down.I then neutralized it and everything was fine.I put it in the tanner in the lutan f and set it for 12 hours at 50 lbs pressure.I just took it out and there was hair all over the tanner.I thought it just got out alot of the loose hair but when i took it out the hair was slipping like crazy.was it something I did or just a bad cape? any help will be greatly appreciated.
