hello my name is tim critchlow and i am 16. recently i went to a sportsman show and i developed a likilng of taxidermy. i wanted to specialize in ducks and turkeys but it is very hard and i was wondeing what i need to start out. I know there is a lot out there but if somebody could just tell me what i need, such as tanning stuff, tools, paints, etc i would be greatly appreciative

you could always try asking your local taxi if he would be willing to teach you a few things in trade for part time work...could be a start....worth a shot...
use the orange search and type in some phrases, like "MOunting first turkey" and spend some time reading. You'll get all kinds of ideas on how to start once you start looking at the archived posts right here. Good luck to you and have fun!
If you don't have any catalogs to look at you could also start there by getting some catalogs and maybe order a video. Go to the top of this page and click on SUPPLIERS and you can find phone numbers , websites, etc.
