Some nice people answered your plea on 1/24/06. Take them up on their responses. Then read your butt off on the archived stuff.
My eyes are crossed from reading all day myself. Goooood luck

Scissors, couple of sharp knives, sharpener of your choice, T pins, small head pins.. some people use card board if they need to secure a tuck in area for mammals I use strips of screen wire, clothes pins for birds and general use for other stuff, screw of all sorts I mostly use Phillips heads decking type screws from 1 1/2 - 3 ", cordless screw driver, drill for drilling holes, some use a dermal for opening nose/mouth etc., drift wood of different sizes depending on what you mount, plastic cups for mixing hide paste etc, I buy plastic putty knives (disposable) for mixing, then there's your airbrush & supplies... Sewing needles. Just depends on your hand size and preference on h=the shape. I find the ones with the bend I think they are "150 Style"...you will use clay for nearly everything but need mostly the kind that doesn't shrink (Critter Clay), then there's wax and thread.. Some use cape thread (waxed) some use specific fishing line...

get some video's and see what they use, also just trial and error. There is really no way to tell someone what to get other than a sharp knife, pliers, screwdriver, needle and thread because everyone has something they use that no one else uses. I have bought tons of stuff I thought I had to have, used it once and it sits in a drawer now with the other stuff I don't like to use.

Tony, the best help you can get is the little orange button to your left. Type in "tools" for the search and check the second page of listings and I believe that there is a previous post with a list of beginners tools. There is an untold wealth of info behind that button, but it's just like the folk here have told me & others, you have to weed through alot to get it sometimes but the info is there! Good Luck
