If you are, enjoy your inheritance.
so you're telling me that if i'm a US citizen there is absolutely no way to sell it?
You will have to excuse King George. He has the opinion that everyone should know what he knows. I don't even know the rules, but I do know that your bear requires permits and paperwork just to keep it and it is a very big no no to sell. Maybe the King can come back and expound on the legal issues in a more educational way. I just amazed he didn't tell you to hit the orange button and search for polar bear. You most likely can find additional information there. You could also search Federal Wildlife websites for more legal information.
Ken Edwards has made this site almost idiot proof, but, alas, he can't keep up.
When you sign on to www.taxidermy.net, a big field opens up and is entitled "What do you want to know?" If you ignore that and go directly to the forums, there's another field that asks the person the same thing. Then there's the left margin with that bright orange SEARCH icon, and still the question gets asked. Now, just for shytz and giggles, I typed in "Selling a polar bear rug". I immediately found that there were 26 separate postings asking that exact same question there. Now Timmy the Serf can feel good about himself for paying homage to the King. At least he has name recognition working for him. LMAO
