I'm trapping mink on my trapline and would like to mount one if I catch one. Are Mink pretty easy to mount? Or are their hides pretty thin and Should I probably get more experience first. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

Yes, I find that minks are easy (and fun) to mount!
It's the details that kill you. Tiny feet to remove toes from, tiny eyes to work with and a tiny little nose to insure there's no shrinkage on. Get by that and it's a piece of cake.
like stated small alot like squirrel I have a tanner that gave me a couple to hone my skills on and I am a newbie as well and have had no problem.I enjoy them mounting them and how they look when they are done.
