I need a bit of advice. I just finished fleshing and salting a bear, it's been salted about a week now. It's mostly dry and white like it's suppose to be but there are a few areas on it that are dark and somewhat soft. I'm assuming it's where I didn't get it properly fleshed and theres still membrane there. Here's my question- can it be salvaged? If so how? Can I just rehydrate and hit it again with the fleshing knife? Thanks.
