How many of you use the bonded ear method and earliners. Wouldn't it make the ears too thick?

I have always used earliners held in place by bondo. Most earliners don't fit the ear perfect the bondo fills the gaps and keeps the ear from drumming from the liner. Its just like using just bondo to form the ear use to much it will look to thick. I don't know if its the best way but its the way I learned and have been using the method for 6 years without any complaints.
I have never heard a complaint with the Bondo ears....Thick or not .....99% of the hunters dont know the difference....of coarse that,s on commercial mounts....TD
you can get it thinner than with the bondo and save the ear liner
and IT WILL NOT DRUM
