This is pertaining to the post I made last night ablout my paint spattering. I do have a moisture trap on my compressor. Im not sure if it is cuz I can notice them better but the darker colors seem to do it worse. I paint around 30 psi. How much do I have to shake the bottles up before I start painting I shake them good for about a minute. I use the paint cup on my brush, so I am not really sure about how I go about thinning the paint any. I have tried putting about half a squirt of windex in my cup before I add whatever paint I use. And thanks for the help last night guys. Any other suggestion about my problem would be great, Thanks, Kevin

We used that stuff in school and ALL of us had the same problem. The school actually had all of our paint replaced because it was a faulty batch or maybe too old. I use wildlife colors now and haven't had any problems at all. Hope this helps.

Polytranspar is about as good as it gets

Tried the others, didn't cut it. You always shake the bottle until you're sure that the marble is contacting the bottom of it. Otherwise, your pigment is on the bottom of the bottle. Joe, you likely had an old batch that had evaporated. I always check bottles that haven't been used in some time for that. Just add water to the acrylic and lacquer thinner to the lacquer. LOL
