can a pickling solution be saved and reused. if so, how long?

.....by rinseing the dirt and blood from your capes before you soak them in the pickle.......keep the salt density at 40% and the ph at what ever is reccomended ....depending on type of acid you use and yes you can re-use it...TD
I can usually get a year out of mine. No mind you I do have to keep adding water, saftee-acid and salt to it.
Dirt will not hurt the pickle at all. It will always wash out later on. Just make sure you don't get contaminated where you can't control the Ph. When that happens dump it and start over.
