hey guys..hope the day is finding you all well and not gased!lmao! i was reading the post about the fumes and basement deal..and yes. i should have posted this there. but with all the reading ahead of me my gosh who could keep up. i remember the day my dad and i decided to paint the inside of out game locker (where we keep our deer and elk chilled till we butcher them). we were using industrial oilbase enamal. we didnt have any thiner to hop it up..so my dad throws in about a gallon of gasoline to the five gallons of paint and handed me a roller and roller handle. lmao! i woke up about a week later with a hang over..lmao! dont have a clue what i did that week..but i guess i had fun! lol!
seriously..just be safe and careful...perhaps for a slight cost you could figure a way to put a exhaust fan in and vent it up through the floor and out a wall to the outside of the house! just put a "no smoking " sign next to the vents exit! jim

Exhausting your fumes to the outside is a good idea along with a)explosion proof blower motor) to go with it if you are using lacquer based paints. I have a late friend that burned himself pretty bad along with his basement using lacquer paint in his basement. When the fumes hit the water heater he had a flash fire. He did get to do some remodeling after that.
